Fabrication Manager Job Summary:

NEFCO is a construction supply company. We provide support to our contractors by serving as the channel that unites them with the construction products that they need. When it comes to the contractor, we are always there when they need us. We never stop working for them. When they build, we build together. #unitedwebuild The Work Order Coordinator writes, tracks, and processes internal/external work orders for our fabrication branches and vendors., assigns processing costs, material costs, and other costs, whilst documenting internal processes.

Job Duties:

Knowledge of shop equipment at specific branches, increasing efficiency of work order processing. Creates stock work orders, item kits, and new part numbers, as needed. Write internal / external work orders as needed. Writes work orders per the WOP group, or other forms of communication. Attaches blueprint, emails, or other drawings to work orders. Assign proper costs for known processes or coordinate with manager on appropriate costs. Documents product costs for review with NEFCO management and future reference. Answer WOP questions, emails, phone calls in regard to products that need to be made or fabricated. Assist NEFCO Purchasing department in transferring and buying of bulk materials. Additional duties, as assigned.

Requirements:
Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience High school diploma (or equivalent) Ability to use NEFCO’s ERP software system Ability to use warehouse layouts for planning purposes Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, or Outlook a plus Basic computer skills Must have a positive, hard-working attitude Ability to establish priorities, work independently with little supervision Ability to multitask Excellent communication skills Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Ability to review and interpret computer images and written documents. Analytical ability including basic math skills Read blueprints comprehend components used.
