Job Description

Description As a Senior Administrative Assistant, you will provide high-level administrative support and will play a critical role in managing schedules, coordinating communications, and ensuring the efficient daily operations of the department. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a background in supporting senior executives or healthcare professionals who thrive in a fast-paced academic and medical setting. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: +

Calendar and Meeting Management:

Actively manage schedules, arrange meetings, and prepare materials. +

Communication Coordination:

Serve as a liaison between the doctors, internal staff, external partners, and patients. +

Document Preparation:

Draft correspondence, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Word and other tools. +

Data Entry and Record Maintenance:

Provide support with medical record management in EPIC (experience preferred but not required). +

General Administrative Tasks:

Facilitate departmental operations, including handling travel arrangements, expense tracking, and other clerical duties as required.

Preferred Skills & Knowledge:

+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word (required). + Exposure to EPIC or similar electronic health records software (a strong plus). + Ability to work efficiently in a complex medical or educational environment. + Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal communication skills. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in administrative support roles, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Proven expertise in managing calendars and scheduling appointments.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using Epic or similar healthcare applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Familiarity with basic office equipment and administrative processes.
