UFLI Office Assistant 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars 341 Tigert Hall 300 SW 13th St, Gainesville, FL 32611 The University of Florida Literacy Institute (UFLI) is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic student to join our team as an Office Assistant. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to our office staff, assist with day-to-day operations, and contribute to the efficient functioning of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer phone calls, direct inquiries, and take accurate messages. Organize, file, and maintain both digital and physical office records. Assist students, faculty, and staff with general inquiries, directing them to the appropriate resources. Input and update data related to departmental operations in spreadsheets/databases. Ensure accurate and organized record-keeping. Assist with special projects or tasks as directed by office staff or the UFLI Center Director Perform additional duties as assigned to support the center’s needs. Expected Salary:

Required Qualifications:
Must be a current University of Florida student in good standing, and must be available to work at least 8-10 hours per week.
Preferred:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and general office software.
