The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice by providing exceptional support to both patients and dental staff. This position requires excellent organizational skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes. Schedule and confirm patient appointments using computerized scheduling systems. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and insurance information. Process insurance claims, ensuring all necessary documentation is submitted. Assist with billing inquiries and provide excellent patient service regarding account questions. Utilize dental software for managing patient information and appointments. Ensure the dental office is organized, clean, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Support dental staff during procedures by preparing instruments and materials as needed. Skills Proficiency in using dental office software. Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations. Experience in medical scheduling and office management within a dental setting is advantageous. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing individual responsibilities. A proactive approach to problem-solving and multitasking in a busy office atmosphere.
