Supervise the daily operations of the office, ensuring that all administrative processes run smoothly. Provide administrative supervision, and handle billing, collections, and other administrative tasks. Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy,
confidentiality, and compliance with relevant regulations. Answer incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, providing timely and accurate information. Use specialized software such as Therapist Helper and Order Connect. Maintain office supplies and
equipment, placing necessary orders. Assist clients in scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and completing required paperwork, including processing payments. Address patient concerns or issues promptly and professionally. Ensure
compliance with current health regulations, medical laws, and ethical confidentiality standards (HIPAA). Process “Prior Authorizations” for obtaining high-cost medications for certain patients.
Requirements:
Associate Degree in Administration from US or foreign accredited school and 12 months of experience as Medical Office Assistant, including: receiving patients, managing patient records, supervising daily administrative tasks such as handling billing, and completing insurance processes.
