Permit Specialist C2C Restoration Sunrise, FL 33351 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Permit Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the permitting processes necessary for our residential and commercial construction projects from start to finish. This position ensures projects move smoothly by obtaining all required permits, coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders, and providing administrative support to maintain organized and accurate documentation. We are looking for someone with strong organizational and communication skills, highly detail-oriented, and demonstrate a thorough understanding of permitting requirements and procedures. Duties Obtain and manage all necessary permits for construction projects (residential/commercial). Must have experience in rebuild and roofing permits across multiple municipalities. Complete, submit, and track permit applications accurately and timely Address and resolve permit rejections efficiently Facilitate clear communication between internal teams and external entities such as architects, engineers, surveyors, and government offices Maintain updated and organized permit files and documentation Prepare permit packets and related documents to prevent project delays Assist with processing HOA approvals, septic permits, Notices of Commencement, and other necessary documents Perform additional administrative support tasks as assigned Experience Proven experience in regulatory reporting, compliance management, or a related field is essential. ICC Permit Tech Certification strongl;y preferred Minimum of one (1) year of experience in permitting, construction administration, or similar professional environment Familiarity with OSHA standards and FEMA ppwk Strong report writing skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. Experience in public health initiatives or similar areas is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. You need to be able to structure your day based on high and low priority tasks. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
