Service Coordinator – Azimut Yachts Azimut Benetti Americas Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315 Job Summary The Service Coordinator at Azimut Yachts is a key administrative role responsible for supporting the Service and Parts Department in both retail and warranty operations. This position focuses on the creation and management of purchase orders and sales orders, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all service-related transactions. The Service Coordinator will collaborate closely with the Accounting Department to streamline financial processes, ensuring smooth billing, payment tracking, and reconciliation. Additionally, this role will provide essential administrative support in tracking orders, managing parts inventory, and assisting with service requests. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively across departments to ensure the smooth execution of service activities. General Accountabilities Generates and manages Purchase Orders for both retail and warranty services, including the procurement of parts, while ensuring proper cost center coding and alignment with internal procedures. Prepares customer estimates for retail work under the guidance of the Service Manager, ensuring documentation is accurate and scope is aligned before work is scheduled. Manages parts billing for customers, working closely with the Accounting Department to ensure timely and accurate invoicing. Reconciles vendor invoices with work orders and coordinates with Accounting to ensure accurate payment processing. Evaluates and vets vendors to confirm quality, reliability, and service capability before issuing purchase orders. Supports the Service Managers and Parts Manager by coordinating administrative tasks and maintaining organized records of orders, transactions, and vendor communications. Collaborates with the Accounting Department to streamline tracking, billing, and order reconciliation procedures. Maintains up-to-date documentation for all purchasing, billing, and service support activities to ensure operational consistency and audit readiness. Requirements Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred. 2-4 years of experience in an administrative, purchasing, or service coordination role—preferably in marine, automotive, or technical service industries. Prior experience with purchase orders, estimates, and vendor invoicing processes required. Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with ERP or order management systems. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Dynamics. Strong attention to detail and ability to track multiple ongoing tasks with accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Skilled at working independently and coordinating with multiple departments (service, parts, and accounting). Comfortable working in a dynamic, service-focused environment.
