Primary Purpose:

Resident Assistants will develop a sense of community by actively engaging with program participants. They will connect with participants genuinely and significantly by creating a culture where all individuals feel cared for through various methods of recognition and support, therefore, creating a sense of belonging.

1. Bring the “One Person can Change the World” grant students from residence halls to various events and drop off locations 2. Communicate housekeeping and maintenance needs in a timely manner and follow up with appropriate parties 3. Complete the “on duty” responsibilities for your community 4. Complete administrative tasks that require accurate and timely execution

Job Requirements:
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

1. May be a current RA who wishes a short-term project in June 2. Must be registered student at Nova Southeastern University, meeting the minimum academic requirements of the academic department. 3. Must have one semester live-in experience prior to Fall 2025, not necessarily at NSU, or significant leadership experience 4. Must be in good judicial standing with the University (i.e.: not above Written Warning) 5. Willingness to make a commitment for two weeks in June (plus prior training periods) 6. While in the RA position, any outside employment or internship is discouraged and must be approved by the “One Person can Change the World” coordinators
