We’re seeking a Full-Time Administrative Support Specialist to join and assist in the smooth operation of our Community Action Team
POSITION OBJECTIVE
Provides administrative support to the Community Action Team (CAT) program staff.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two (2) years office experience to include use of MS Office programs
- Flexible working hours to include some evenings or Saturdays as needed
- Successful completion of background screening
SKILLS NECESSARY
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, using the English language
- Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues and staff at all levels and to effectively interface with all departments within the agency
- Good analytical, organizational, grammatical and spelling skills
- Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Internet.
- Ability to work independently to complete reports, projects and assignments paying attention to details
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Provide administrative support to the CAT Clinical Manager and clinical staff with clerical duties as assigned Assist with reports, data entry, correspondence as assigned Responsible for office supplies for staff; forms, brochures, envelopes, printer supplies. Store member and agency credit card holder for main office Petty cash responsibilities-receipts, monthly balancing, gift cards for program Update forms/brochures as needed Cell phone assignment/distribution/inventory; review monthly bills Assist supervisor in the preparation for meetings, preparing documents and presentations Assist with room setup and breakdown for meetings/trainings; provide sign-in sheets; take meeting minutes Provides backup to other departmental administrative staff including QA/Compliance, Business Office, off-site locations
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in client support roles, preferably in mental health and substance use disorder settings
- Successful completion of background screening
- Reliable transportation and good driving record
