Reporting to the Program Manager, the Administrative Assistant provides administrative and clerical services in support of engineering department operations. This is a contingent position expected to be located in Mayport, FL. What You’ll Do
Prepare, transcribe, transfer, systemize and preserve written and computerized communications and records.
Gather and distribute information.
Operate office machines; store, distribute, account for stores of material.
Support projects requiring research and preparation of briefings charts and other presentation materials.
Operate computerized business systems for the purpose of data entry and mining of business systems for the administration of ship repair and gathering performance metrics.
Prepare and maintain spreadsheets, charts and graphs.
Prepare meeting minutes and presentations, file and records management, enter, update and retrieve information utilizing automated systems.
Prepare correspondence, instructions and memorandums.
Assist in material ordering, pickup and delivery of supplies.
Bid and proposal support if requested.
Other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications:

An active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.
HS Diploma required. At least three (3) years of experience supporting a full range of administrative and clerical support services.
Must possess a working knowledge of PowerPoint, Fleet Technical Support (Formerly TAAS-Info), Business Objects and (MRQT) Material Requirements tool.
Familiarity with Supervisory Desk (SUPDESK) and Navy Maintenance Database (NMD).
Must possess basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
Must possess strong time management skills.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
Must be able to remain seated in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must also be able to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to lift items that may weigh up to 50 pounds. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
