Job Description

Life Planning Partners, Inc. is a nationally known boutique fee only financial planning firm located in Jacksonville, Florida. We are looking for a full-time administrative assistant. If the following fits your situation, we would love to talk with you about working with us: You have a good personality and it shows in how you greet people and answer the phone. You have good computer skills and would be happy scanning, filing, entering data, requesting client information, and processing client requests. You like helping people and being a problem solver. You like working with fun people in a hybrid work environment – two days a week remote, three days a week in the office after an initial training period. Our ideal candidate would have the following characteristics: A high-school diploma and at least 2 years of experience in an office environment A background in the insurance industry is a huge plus Good time management skills and the ability to multi-task Strong computer skills, with knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively Good attention to detail Warm personality and you are comfortable asking questions and learning new skills What you will be doing: You will assist in gathering information for us to complete our client’s financial plans. You will help shop for car, home, and umbrella insurance policies when needed. We do not sell insurance, but act as an advocate to help our clients find insurance. You will assist in filling out client forms and other paperwork. You will learn how to use our client financial aggregation tools so you can assist the planners in keeping clients organized. You will help with computer-based document filing. You will keep office supplies stocked and make sure the office looks tidy for client visits. You will help answer the phones and direct calls to the appropriate party.
