$33.9K – $38.7K a year 1 day ago Qualifications Microsoft Office Administrative experience Computer skills Communication skills Entry level Time management Full Job Description We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Fine Arts Assistant to support the Fine Arts Director (Kim Keepers) and the overall functioning of the department. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and enjoys working in an environment that supports creativity and student growth. This position requires strong administrative and communication skills, a willingness to learn new technologies, and a kind, student-focused demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as administrative assistant to the Fine Arts Director Assist in communication with students, parents, and faculty through various platforms Help with grading and recording assessments in an accurate and timely manner Maintain and organize department materials, inventory, and classroom setup Create and manage spreadsheets, inventory systems, and sign-up tools (e.g., Signup Genius) Be open and adaptable to learning new digital platforms as needed Demonstrate kindness, patience, and professionalism when interacting with children Take initiative in organizing and assisting with classroom and event preparation Provide logistical and administrative support for fine arts performances and programs

Qualifications:

Strong organizational and time management skills Proficient in basic computer programs (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.) Comfortable using or learning platforms like spreadsheets, SignUpGenius, and email systems Reliable, task-oriented, and able to follow through with minimal supervision Friendly and respectful attitude toward students, faculty, and families Prior experience in an educational or arts environment is a plus Some music knowledge is a bonus, but not required
