PERSONAL ASSISTANT HOUSEHOLD MANAGER

This role requires the ability to perform occasional heavy lifting. We are seeking a highly dependable, discreet, and service-minded Personal Assistant / Household Manager to join a private household and work in close partnership with the Estate Manager. This is a dynamic, hands-on role where no task is too big or too small. The ideal candidate will be polished, respectful, and confident in navigating a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times. This individual will serve as a trusted extension of the family—someone who anticipates needs, upholds the highest standards of discretion, and represents the household with grace and professionalism. A proactive mindset, adaptability, and deep attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Supporting the Estate Manager in day-to-day household operations
  • Running errands: grocery shopping, dry cleaning, returns, prescriptions, etc.
  • Laundry, ironing, steaming, and wardrobe management
  • Scheduling household maintenance and coordinating vendors
  • Managing calendars, appointments, and reminders
  • Making travel arrangements, preparing detailed itineraries, and packing/unpacking
  • Driving family members to appointments, events, or airports (clean driving record required)
  • Feeding, walking, and caring for family dogs — including occasional overnight stays
  • Preparing for holidays and special occasions, including decorations and setup
  • Maintaining household inventory and overseeing supply needs
  • Light meal prep or coordinating meals and catering as needed
  • Providing general household support — stepping in wherever help is needed

  • Tech-savvy and comfortable managing calendars, travel logistics, and household systems
  • Genuinely enjoys being of service and working behind the scenes
  • Pet-friendly and dog-savvy — a must
  • Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and assisting with home tasks
  • Prior experience in a similar personal assistant or household support role strongly preferred
  • Military background or service-oriented experience a plus
Compensation & Schedule:
