04/11/2025 Total Compensation Estimator Tool (https://compcalculator.myflorida.com/) This is a highly professional managerial position providing programmatic and operational oversight of the Adult Protective Services programs and staff. The Program Administrator directs day-to-day operation of the assigned area in the Northeast Region Adult Protective Services Protective Investigations, Protective Supervision, Home Care for Disabled Adults, Community Care for Disabled Adults, and Protective Intervention programs. The position manages staff to meet workload requirements and to efficiently conduct operations within established budgetary resources; while ensuring compliance with applicable statutes, rules, policies, and performance standards.
The Program Administrator coordinates ongoing reviews of service delivery and management systems to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity. The position is responsible to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a broad array of organizations and groups, serving on community boards, committees, and workgroups. The Program Administrator provides community training and presentations on behalf of the Adult Protective Services program. The successful candidate must be able to work well in coordination with other agency personnel, including other managers, supervisors, direct service staff, and program specialists.
