Dedicated to Excellence, Committed to Service Records Office Transfer Clerk The Transfer Clerk is responsible to manage the transfer process by evaluating transcripts for incoming students, verifying transient requests meet academic policies, and maintaining contact with students regarding evaluation decisions. The Transfer Clerk also supports the Records Office by providing customer service and assisting with various projects as directed by the Registrar and Records Office Coordinator. Evaluate Transfer Credits
Process transfer student transcripts and AP/CLEP tests. Evaluate course descriptions and track course equivalencies. Maintain the transfer work database, entering course information into the ministry database. Process Transient Requests
Verify that transient requests meet academic policies and submit for Academic Committee review. Communicate committee decisions to the student. Maintain the transient and ministry database. Maintain Correspondence Maintain contact with students regarding evaluation of transferred courses and transient requests. Update the Registrar, Chairs, Graduation Clerk, and Plan of Study Clerk on transfer work, reevaluations, and transient requests. Assist with Department Projects Assist with picking up faculty printing from the Print Shop and serve as a back up to the counter by answering grade, plan of study, or records-related questions. Education College Degree:
Office Systems, HS (Required) Work Experience 1+ years in an academic office Physical Requirements and Skills Communication, Computer Literacy, Interpersonal Relationships, Microsoft Office, Operating Office Equipment, Sitting for long periods of time Ideal candidates must be born-again Christians and must be dedicated to training young people for serving God; and must desire to educate students based on biblical values and be committed to excellence as a Christian educator who glorifies Christ as the source of all wisdom and knowledge.
