The Role:

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Office Coordinator to join our team. This customer-facing role is essential to our daily operations, supporting both administrative functions and customer engagement. While this position does not require teaching swim lessons, applicants with relevant experience may have the opportunity to occasionally assist in the water if desired.

Key Responsibilities:

Be onsite during lesson hours to assist customers and oversee facility operations. Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls to assist current and prospective clients. Drive program growth through marketing efforts, including attending community events and visiting local businesses. Use our registration software to enroll students, manage schedules, and update customer accounts. Educate families about our swim programs, highlighting features and benefits to help them make informed choices. Monitor activity on the pool deck to help maintain an organized and welcoming environment during busy times. Collaborate with management to ensure smooth operations and support daily needs.

Requirements:

Must have a personal laptop to complete administrative tasks. Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with a professional and friendly demeanor. Ability to maintain a consistent schedule and show up reliably for assigned shifts. Proficiency in English; Spanish-speaking ability is a plus but not required. Prior experience in customer service or administrative roles is preferred, but not mandatory.

Work Schedule:

Swim classes run Monday-Thursday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Weekends from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM . Office Coordinator must commit to at least 3 weekday shifts and 1 weekend day (Saturday or Sunday). Additional shifts from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM are available. Join us in promoting water safety and making a real difference in the lives of families in Stamford!
