Personal Assistant Loans By Adam Tampa, FL 33617 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities and other health-related needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care, demonstrating empathy and patience while assisting clients in their daily activities. This role requires a blend of personal care skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration. Observe and document patient behavior and health status, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare staff. Support individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting independence and facilitating engagement in social activities. Ensure the safety and well-being of clients by adhering to resident rights and maintaining a clean living environment. Provide memory care support for clients experiencing cognitive challenges, utilizing effective communication strategies. Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans. Maintain accurate records of patient care activities and assist with scheduling appointments as needed. Qualifications Experience in home health or patient care settings is preferred. Certification in First Aid or CPR is desirable. Strong observational skills with the ability to recognize changes in patients’ conditions.
