Job Description

Administrative Assistant
We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Fort Myers, Florida. This is a long-term contract position, ideal for someone with a strong background in administrative tasks and excellent organizational skills. The role will involve supporting various operational functions, ensuring accuracy in documentation, and maintaining effective communication across departments.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare precise energy calculations, including Manual J, D, and S, for both residential and commercial projects.
  • Analyze architectural and engineering plans to create accurate load calculations and system designs.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and installation teams to ensure adherence to energy codes and project requirements.
  • Assist in performing take-offs and estimating tasks as necessary.
  • Keep records of completed calculations and reports up-to-date and organized.
  • Verify that all designs and calculations comply with local building codes and regulations.
  • Manage data entry, email correspondence, and document preparation to support daily operations.
  • Proven experience in performing energy calculations for HVAC systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with industry software such as Wrightsoft or Elite Software.
  • Strong ability to interpret construction drawings and mechanical plans.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Self-driven with effective organizational and time management abilities.
Preferred:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting/Design, or a related field.

    Preferred:

    Prior experience in a design-build, engineering, or HVAC contracting environment.
