Summary:
We are seeking a motivated individual with a passion to grow in commercial real estate. Cushman & Wakefield Commercial Property Southwest Florida is one of the leading full-service commercial brokerage and property management firms in Southwest Florida. This position reports to the Director of Property Management and will assist in the day-to-day operations of the firm. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial real estate and a good understanding of how a commercial property management firm operates. Responsibilities:
- Support Property Managers in overseeing a portfolio of office, retail, medical, and industrial properties.
- Assist in the day-to-day management of Lease Administration Services for a portfolio of properties with multiple clients o Review and analyze lease documents and abstracts in the database o Abstract leases and amendments o Prepares New Lease Files (electronic and hard copies)
- Collaborate with Accounting and Property Management to ensure the accuracy of system information.
- Evaluate tenant accounts for compliance with lease terms.
- Assist with tenant lease terms compliance and tracking of accurate Certificates of Insurance.
- Review & Execute Items on Tenant Checklist (notify PM of T.I.’s, request COI’s, HVAC Contract, etc.)
- Assist with New Property On-Boarding and Tracking.
- Serve as a point of contact for tenants and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with tenant rent collections, notices, emergency contact information, etc.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned to support the team.
Qualifications:
Education:
Associate degree preferred.
Experience:
Previous experience in commercial real estate or a related field is preferred.
Skills:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good reading comprehension and ability to interpret complex lease terms.
