Administrative Clerk Cascades at Clearlake 10770 Clear Lake Loop, Fort Myers, FL 33908 We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Clerk to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the property management team, assisting with tenant communications, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day activities.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the property management team, including but not limited to answering phones, responding to emails, and managing calendars. Assist with tenant communications, including answering inquiries, addressing concerns, and coordinating maintenance requests. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leases, rent payments, maintenance requests, and other relevant documentation. Prepare and distribute notices, letters, and other correspondence to tenants and vendors as needed. Assist with the leasing process, including processing rental applications, conducting credit and background checks, and preparing lease agreements. Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to update resident information, rental rates, and other property-related data in the management software. Assist in organizing and maintaining office supplies and equipment inventory. Support property managers with special projects and tasks as assigned. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to property management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus. Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a multifamily/residential setting. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants, vendors, and team members. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio) is preferred. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Why join us?
