The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and fitness training and a commitment to helping clients achieve their health and wellness goals. As the Assistant Personal Training Manager, you will assist the Personal Training Manager meet with current members and new members to highlight the benefits of joing our personal training program in addition to helping develop new personal trainers. PT sales commissions range from $50 – $400 per sale, in addition to a monthly uncapped personal sales invoice bonus + hourly pay. •Bilingual Spanish is not required but preferred. Responsibilities Set appointments and help conduct individual assessments to understand clients’ fitness levels and goals. Educate clients on the principles of physiology and anatomy related to fitness. Promote personal training services to attract new clients through effective sales strategies. Be outgoing and proactive setting appointments by meeting new members, calling members from call lists, and by approaching current members working out in the gym. Qualifications Certification from a recognized fitness organization not required but preferred(e.g., ACE, NASM, NSCA, ISSA, etc). Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate others. A solid understanding of body mechanics and injury prevention techniques. Previous experience working in a gym or health club environment is advantageous.
