In this role you will be responsible for: Serving as the point of contact for the Department of Statistics by answering the telephone, greeting walk-in visitors, and answering general questions via phone, email, and in-person. Processing and distributing outgoing and incoming mail. Assisting with assigning student offices and ordering keys. Serving as the departmental travel representative by assisting with travel arrangements, processing travel requests and reimbursements, and scheduling itineraries for visitors when needed. Serving as the departmental procurement representative by placing, monitoring, and receiving orders, preparing payment requests, and reconciling procurement card purchases. Serving as the Departmental Time & Leave Coordinator. Assisting with entering HR transactions for departmental personnel. Assisting the Chair and Business Manager with various tasks. Assisting with Promotion and Tenure tasks. Preparing announcements and assist with scheduling and organizing events in departmental space. Ordering and maintaining departmental supply inventory. Performing on-campus errands. Assisting with reporting maintenance issues. Assisting with the use of office equipment. Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalent and three years of experience. (
