Your Role at Acousti As a Project Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting project management functions by handling administrative and operational tasks essential to the successful execution of construction projects. This entry-level position is designed for individuals looking to grow within the construction industry, offering a career path to Project Manager. You will work closely with project managers and team members to ensure projects are executed smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities In this role, you will: Create and maintain job and contract folders, ensuring proper documentation and organization throughout the project lifecycle Enter and manage project data in software platforms like Timberline or Sage, from initiation to closeout Assist in preparing bids, purchase orders, and material lists for projects Coordinate with project managers to track updates, follow up on tasks, and resolve issues Handle clerical tasks, including document filing, phone correspondence, and report preparation Communicate with general contractors and other stakeholders to provide updates and address inquiries Review and maintain project scopes and metadata for accuracy and compliance Ensure professional communication and collaboration with team members and external partners What We’re Looking for in You To succeed in this role, you should have: Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Excel) and Adobe PDF tools A professional demeanor with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills A self-starter attitude with a commitment to personal and professional growth Familiarity with the construction industry and project management principles Preferred Qualifications In addition to the above, we would prefer candidates with: Experience using Timberline or Sage software 3+ years of commercial construction exposure Working knowledge of drywall, acoustical ceilings, or other construction trades
