Purpose & Impact:
The purpose of the Administrative Assistant is to provide administrative and program support to the assigned program units. This is a part-time role. Hours for this role are 8 am – 2 pm.
Essential Functions:
Greeting clients and answering phones Data entry for information required on the Children’s Network Executive Report Medical, Dental, Photos, Birth Verifications, Fingerprints Responsible for review of Children’s Active Report to ensure accuracy of caregiver/children addresses and phone numbers Permanency Staffing invites Background Checks ASK print requests Drug Screens Completion of ITR packets Obtain quarterly educational reports and medical records Completion of MCR/MCF and incident report for Runaway Qualifications Competencies (Skills/Knowledge & Abilities) Possess a good work ethic and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Possess a keen sense of confidentiality and discretion. Excellent communication, customer service and problem-solving skills required. Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to our service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and needs. Possess a keen sense of confidentiality and discretion. Able to present a professional image over the telephone and in person. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Bending and lifting may be required. Able to set up and maintain an extensive filing system and knowledge of general office operating, administrative procedures. Education and Experience Progressively responsible administrative and clerical support experience in a professional office. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
