Job Summary :
To assist the agency and patient care staff in obtaining and verifying appropriate documentation, and to ensure optimum informational access in patient files according to Federal, State, and Agency guidelines while maintaining patient confidentiality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following: Responsible for obtaining Physician’s signed orders, enlists the assistance of MSR/Clinical Manager/Administrator/Medical Direct as needed to ensure Physician’s Orders are signed timely. Contacts Physician’s office as needed to follow up on obtaining F2F and Unsigned orders. Maintains knowledge of CMS regulations and updates related to Medicare F2F rule. Electronically Files all paperwork in appropriate patient charts and files. Assists System Administrator with accurately maintaining Physician/Facility database in HCHB.
