The Lakes Home Care We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our Home Health team. The ideal candidate will provide essential administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient office operations. The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in maintaining accurate records, coordinating communications, and supporting the clinical and administrative staff under the direction of the Office Manager. Responsibilities Perform general administrative tasks, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence. Maintain organized filing systems for patient records, and other office documents (electronic and paper). Monitor office supplies and place orders as needed to maintain inventory. Assist in onboarding and credentialing of clinical staff by organizing required documentation and keeping files up to date. Maintain confidentiality of all patient and staff information in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Perform additional administrative duties as assigned by Office Manager. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or certification in office administration preferred). Minimum of one year of administrative experience in a healthcare or related office setting. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with data entry systems or EHRs. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
