The successful candidate will work closely with the Company’s General Manager and Operations Manager to maintain and manage systems and schedules. ASG specializes in using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as a tool to teach skills to children with Autism based on research in child development. We provide services in different environments such as the home, school, and/ or community, depending on each child’s needs. We are looking for a temporary full-time Administrative Assistant that is professional and prompt. The applicant should have experience in customer service and strong organizational skills. They should be able to perform all essential duties associated with their position without assistance. This person must be able to juggle a myriad of details weekly and possess excellent time management skills. We are looking for a minimum of 2 years of administrative assistant or customer service-related experience in the healthcare industry or physician’s office. Key Responsibilities Excellent phone etiquette and skills to speak to clients and employees. Be able to express positively and with enthusiasm while speaking to patients interested in obtaining behavior therapy. Assist in data entry, including patient information for electronic medical records and patient intake. Ability to navigate medical systems such as Kareo and Availity to check benefits and authorizations. Managing employee work schedules. Secure patient information and maintain patient confidentiality by completing and safeguarding electronic medical records and completing proper database maintenance. Qualifications/Skills Preferred minimum 2 years of experience as an administrative assistant or customer service-related experience. Preferred experience in healthcare industry or physician’s office. Thrives in a busy, detail oriented and strong customer service environment. Minimum of 2 years data entry, word processing and/or medical records maintenance experience in healthcare customer service environment. Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint). Attention to detail, along with excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task, worker under pressure with changing priorities and short deadlines. Professional and courteous in tone when delivering information. Excellent customer service skills.
