Front Office Coordinator Speech Pathology of Coral Gables Miami, FL 33144 We are looking for a motivated, skilled front Office Coordinator to undertake a variety of day-to-day office and clerical tasks. The Front Office Coordinator will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience. The Front Office Coordinator will be an integral part in ensuring that our office operations run smoothly and successfully in our pediatric therapeutic center. An excellent office coordinator is, above all, an organized and competent professional with phenomenal communication skills. You will be comfortable dealing with people and children and able to carry out administrative duties with accuracy and speed. The goal is to ensure that office operations are efficient and add maximum value to the facility.
Responsibilities:
Streamline office workflow, policy & procedures Scheduling for therapists Manage insurances by obtaining authorizations, verifying benefits, evaluations/re-evaluations and pertinent information required Maintain an effective filing system for files and records Greet and assist parents and patients at the office and/or via telephone Monitor office expenditures and handle office contracts (rent, service etc.) Address and resolve parent/patient complaints or issues Monitor office supplies inventory and place orders Manage social media platforms and website content
Requirements:
Proven experience as office coordinator or in a similar role (references required) Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles and office management systems Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and office equipment (e.g. scanner, v-fax, etc.) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask Reliability, patience, and professionalism Proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) Strong attention to detail and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
