Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Clerk to support our busy medical credentialing office. The ideal candidate will efficiently manage administrative tasks, maintain accurate records, and assist in ensuring compliance with credentialing standards and deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Perform general office duties such as answering phones, managing emails, scanning, filing, and data entry. Organize and maintain provider credentialing files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Prepare, process, and track credentialing applications and documentation. Communicate effectively with medical providers, insurance companies, and internal departments to obtain necessary information. Assist with scheduling credentialing appointments and follow-ups. Generate routine reports on credentialing statuses, expirations, and compliance. Assist in auditing credentialing documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Provide administrative support to the Credentialing Supervisor and Office Manager as needed.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Previous administrative experience, preferably in healthcare or credentialing. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Detail-oriented with the ability to handle confidential information responsibly. Familiarity with medical credentialing processes and terminology is preferred but not required.
