Job Description

Program Administrator- Safety Management Services (SMS)/Community Liaison 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars Miami Gardens, FL 33056 The Center for Family and Child Enrichment (CFCE) is dedicated to helping children and their families by providing the right services and solutions based on individual needs. CFCE is constantly evolving to better support our community. As a Program Administrator, Safety Management Services (SMS) Specialist, you will oversee operations of the Safety Management Services Program, tracking. Operational functions include, but are not limited to: program development and operations, managing metric compliance, training, intake, case management, support services, prevention services, utilization management, management of community stakeholder relationships, client services, collaborative communication between all CFCE departments and with network partners, managing resources and participation in contract negotiations when needed. This position entails a flexible work schedule-generally 9:00am to 6:00pm including at a minimum, a 30-minute lunch period. The position requires 24/7 on-call availability. Why join

Functions Include:

Provide administrative and supervisory oversight of the Safety Management Services Program; Provide direct supervision of the SMS Supervisor and other specified employees; Serves as a liaison between CFCE and Citrus FCN, DCF, the Child Welfare community stakeholders, and service providers; Collaborate with stakeholders in a multi-disciplinary manner to ensure the system of care is promoting child and family well-being; Maintain and enhance knowledge of policies and laws governing child welfare matters; Assist in the development of program and agency policy and protocols; Oversees and ensures compliance with the Citrus FCN SMS Contract, as well as the Department of Children and Families (DCF) CFOP and Scorecard; Attend community meetings and events with community stakeholders and churches to build relationships and serve as link between the organization and the community; Track Outcomes and monitor program effectiveness; Provide leadership in efforts to seek funding to ensure program quality and advancement; Participate in recruitment and hiring of new employees; Review and approve external reports prior to submission; Ensure integration and compliance with agency-wide continuous quality improvement protocols; Attend meetings on behalf of the Agency with representatives of other agencies including the Department of Children and Families, as requested; Serve as Direct Supervisor of the SMS Specialists in the absence of the SMS Supervisor, taking on all job duties and responsibilities. Minimum Requirements Master’s Degree in the area of Psychology, Social Work or related behavioral science discipline and at least 8 years’ experience in the area of child welfare, or; Bachelor’s Degree in area of Psychology, Social Work or related behavioral science discipline and at least 10 years supervisory and/or administrative experience in child welfare. Active/current Child Welfare Certification from Florida Certification Board. Proficient in understanding and use of the Florida Child Welfare Practice Model/Safety Methodology. Strong and effective Supervisory skills to promote success on performance and contract measures and ensure that deadlines are met. Other Skills and Requirements Needed Must be computer literate and literate in FSFN, Mindshare, CJIS, and Stabilify Programs; Must have good listening and analytical skills; Able to use compassion and creativity in reaching solutions to the problems presented; Excellent assessment skills and intervention strategies; Ability to perform at a high level of autonomy or with minimal supervision; Ability to handle confidential information appropriately; Very strong verbal and written communication skills.
