Job Description

Project Administrator Ballagas Construction 1200 Brickell Ave Ste 1950, Miami, FL 33131 Objective The Project Administrator will perform essential on-site administrative tasks to support the project team effectively. Regular Job Duties Utilize MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook for document creation, responding to inquiries, and developing spreadsheets. Manage the distribution and receipt of bi-weekly overnight packages from the regional office. Order safety and office supplies as needed. Assist with onboarding new hires at the job site. Answer and route phone calls in the job trailer, responding to general inquiries and taking messages as required. Enter production data into the database accurately. Support additional administrative tasks as directed. Maintain common work areas, including meeting rooms and break rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization. Keep a highly organized work area while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Write reports, business correspondence, and project documentation. Communicate effectively before groups of customers or employees. Read and interpret safety rules, operating procedures, and maintenance instructions. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. One (1) to three (3) months of related experience or training preferred. Proficient in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills. Moderate to advanced proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook. Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) with various units of measure, including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Valid driver’s license required for occasional travel. Capability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and to read and interpret bar graphs. Moderate physical activity required, with some exposure to outdoor conditions and varying weather. Ability to navigate safely around construction project sites, maneuvering around minor obstacles. Manual dexterity to handle items and perform tasks effectively with hands.
