Three years of administrative experience are required. Additional administrative experience may substitute for the required college education on a year for year basis. Recruitment Notes This is advanced and responsible professional work in procurement and material management activities of the Water & Sewer Department. Manages procurement activities and ensures contract compliance and financial accuracy. Acts as a liaison between Operations, Procurement, and Vendors, and serves to streamline contract approvals and tracking. Uses utility operational knowledge to coordinate with Divisions to prepare 5-year funding needs and provide adequate justification for funding approval by county leadership and elected commissioners. Coordinates contract modifications and renewals using the Purpose-Driven Procurement checklist. Oversees vendor relations, issue resolution, and payment processing.
