Summary:

The Convention Services Clerical (Administrative Assistant) performs all administrative duties related to the department and required by the department’s management staff.

Responsibilities:

Adhere to all hotel and banquet standards, policies, and procedures. Perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner always maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction. Maintain a cooperative, team-like attitude in working with supervisors and fellow employees to help achieve our common goals of maximizing guest satisfaction and profit margins. Maintain a positive attitude toward the hotel and the job responsibilities. Report to work on time, as scheduled. Carries out all administrative duties as directed by manager(s) to generally include, work processing, function book (V1.), file maintenance and telephone answering. Must be able to complete tasks and effectively communicate with others under high-stress levels.

Experience/Qualifications:

Previous administrative assistant experience preferred. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs infrequently Must be able to legally work in the USA. Education and Certification(s)/License(s): High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
