Role:
The Patron Services Associate reports to the Manager, Group Sales and Ticketing and supports Orlando Ballet’s revenue-generating through customer-focused ticketing operations and accurate data entry. This role is responsible for managing all ticketing functions within Tessitura, maintaining a high standard of customer service, and ensuring accurate records and reporting of ticket sales, subscriptions, and philanthropic contributions. Operating in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment, the role requires keen attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. Candidates should be organized, adaptable, and passionate about supporting both the patron/donor experience and Orlando Ballet’s mission to entertain, educate, and enrich through the highest quality of dance. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage all ticketing functions using Tessitura, including processing single tickets, subscriptions, group sales, and donation voucher requests, while ensuring accurate records of all transactions and timely reporting to support operational transparency. Provide exceptional customer service across all platforms (phone, email, and in-person), acting as a knowledgeable and courteous resource for information on performances, ticketing packages, applicable discounts, and company policies. Represent Orlando Ballet at all mainstage and in-house productions, supporting front-of-house operations and fostering a welcoming, professional, and service-oriented experience for all patrons. Build and maintain meaningful relationships with patrons by proactively resolving issues, recognizing frequent attendees and donors, and generating regular reports on ticket sales, revenue trends, attendance, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions. Accept and record all incoming contributed revenue into the Tessitura platform in collaboration with the Individual Giving Manager, ensuring accurate and timely entry aligned with fundraising goals. Maintain the Tessitura database to ensure all patron and donor records are clean, accurate, and complete in collaboration with all key stakeholders across departments. Work closely with the Finance department and the Individual Giving Manager to perform reconciliations of incoming contributed revenue, ensuring fiscal accountability and consistency between systems. Assist with tracking and fulfillment of donor and sponsor ticket benefits in coordination with the Philanthropy Department, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of benefits. Provide administrative support for subscription renewals and campaign launches by confirming patron data accuracy and helping monitor campaign performance. Support internal cross-departmental initiatives by participating in regular meetings, contributing insights from patron interactions, and assisting with the implementation of new ticketing or development workflows. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all Orlando Ballet programming and organizational initiatives to serve as a well-informed ambassador when interfacing with patrons, donors, and the public. Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of related work experience in customer service and/or data entry Experience working in a robust CRM or ticketing software system Proven track record of ability to work independently with great attention to detail and flexibility, in a fast-paced atmosphere under established time constraints Excellent organizational, customer service, and communications skills Ability to observe strict confidentiality and discretion in all aspects of services provided Ability to work outside normal business hours at times to meet the needs of the organization Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including mastery of
Excel Preferred Qualifications:
