Project Administrator – Field-Based On-Site near Orlando International Airport 6 month Contract to Hire •Unable to Provide Sponsorship or do C2C•
Overview:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Project Administrator to join the team supporting a large-scale construction project for United Airlines at Orlando International Airport (MCO). This $350M+ project involves building a state-of-the-art aircraft maintenance facility, including new hangars, office space, utility infrastructure, and support buildings. In this role, you’ll work closely with project managers, superintendents, and field staff to help keep the project organized and running smoothly. You’ll assist with documentation, scheduling support, communication tracking, and general administrative tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience with a major construction project while learning from a seasoned team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support 15+ field personnel, including Superintendents and Project Managers, with administrative operations and documentation control. Utilize project management tools (Procore, MS Office) to track documentation, streamline communication, and support task execution. Assist with billing processes, insurance documentation, subcontractor compliance, and workflow tracking. Manage meeting coordination, documentation distribution, and internal reporting schedules. Develop scalable admin systems and support onboarding of new team members. Facilitate smooth communication between project stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams. Monitor document deadlines, permits, and compliance checkpoints to help ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required (Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred). 1-2 years of administrative or project coordination experience; construction or aviation project background preferred. Proficiency with MS Office required; experience with Procore and/or SharePoint a plus. Strong organizational skills with a sharp attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Comfortable working in a field-based environment with early hours and evolving needs. Eager to learn and grow into increasing responsibility.
