Front Office Clerk/Receptionist Unified Women’s Healthcare Saint Cloud, FL 34769 The right person for this position enjoys interacting with patients, working as part of a team, is reliable, honest and ready to join a growing OBGYN facility.
Job Responsibilities:
Warmly welcome patients and visitors in person or on the telephone. Assist patients in completing all necessary forms and documentation Keeps patient appointments on schedule by moving through the appointment process Comforts patients by anticipating anxieties and concerns, ie communicating wait times Politely answering patient questions whether in person or over the phone. Transferring calls as required Preserving the reception area in a clean and neat state. Accurately maintaining patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information. Being comfortable reviewing insurance benefits with patients and collecting copays/coinsurance/deductible responsibilities. Verifying patient insurance eligibility and obtaining prior authorization as needed. Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level and anticipating needed supplies. Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information. Maintains operations by following policies and procedures.
