Office Administrative Assistant with Case Management Experience Changing Lives of Boca Raton, Inc 1000 North Dixie Highway, Boca Raton, FL 33432 Job Summary We are seeking for an office administrator with some case management experience that is open to serving the homeless community in our area. Essential duties and responsibilities include assisting the Program Director and working with clients struggling with issues such as addiction, disability, and mental health disorders. The candidate should be able to keep, organize, and update case files both physically and electronically. They also need to assist the Program Director with answering calls, returning messages, and responsible for calendaring appointments for the Program Director with new and existing clients. Changing Lives of Boca Raton Inc is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The mission of Changing Lives extends beyond spiritual and practical guidance—we are committed to supporting our members through a range of essential services. These include scholarships for sober living facilities and detox programs, housing stipends, medical and mental health care costs, assistance with securing personal documentation, employment opportunities, and seed funding for business start-ups. These resources are available to clients who have followed our program guidelines. We believe that true self-sufficiency requires a continuum of care—not just a handout, but a hand up. Through personalized, comprehensive support, we help individuals who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness transition into stable housing and independent living. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans. Coordinate services and resources for clients, ensuring they have access to necessary support. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and care plans. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to facilitate collaboration and support. Provide ongoing monitoring and evaluation of client progress, adjusting care plans as needed. Assist clients in navigating healthcare systems and accessing community resources. Uphold confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all interactions. Requirements Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Proficient in computer use for documentation and communication purposes. Excellent proofreading abilities to ensure accuracy in documentation. Experience in office management or clerical tasks is preferred. Background in case management is a plus. Experience in Social Work with the homeless population (Preferred, not required) Demonstrated phone etiquette for professional communication with clients and stakeholders. Ability to manage calendars efficiently for scheduling appointments and meetings. Strong customer support skills to address client inquiries and concerns with empathy. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for helping others, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Full-time Pay:

From $13.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
