Parish Administrator 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars 100 N Palmway, Lake Worth, FL 33460 Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong office management skills and be proficient in various administrative tasks. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our church, providing support to staff, directing volunteers, and maintaining efficient workflows. The Administrator will be responsible for a variety of clerical duties, ensuring that all office processes run seamlessly. Duties Manage daily office operations, including scheduling appointments and coordinating volunteers and meetings. Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail. Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and digital documents. Provide clerical support such as proofreading documents, preparing reports, and drafting correspondence. Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, Church Windows, Mailchimp, and other software tools to enhance productivity and communication. Assist in managing office supplies and inventory, ensuring that all necessary materials are readily available. Act as a personal assistant to the parish priest and other clergy when required, handling confidential information with discretion. Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, providing excellent customer service. Experience Proven experience in an administrative or office management role is preferred. Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office software. Experience with bookkeeping and maintaining accurate records. Familiarity with clerical tasks such as proofreading, document preparation, and filing systems. Previous experience coordinating volunteers is preferred, but not required. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in an ever changing environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this position.
