As our Dealership Assistant, you’ll be the welcoming face and helpful voice of our dealership. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front office, supporting various administrative tasks and contributing to a positive experience for our customers and team members. This is a great opportunity to utilize your organizational skills and gain valuable experience in the automotive industry.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Be the first point of contact for visitors, greeting them with a smile and directing them appropriately. Answer and manage phone calls with professionalism and efficiency. Accurately enter important data into our systems (both text and numbers). Process incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely delivery. Operate essential office equipment like copiers, scanners, and computers with ease. Prepare and submit deposits accurately. Provide general information to customers and team members in a clear and helpful manner. Assist customers with rental car reservations, rate quotes, pick-ups, and returns. Maintain organized files and records. Receive and process customer payments. Occasionally drive vehicles locally as needed. Handle other general office and administrative tasks as they arise.
What We’re Looking For:
A positive and professional attitude with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in basic computer software (like Microsoft Office Suite or similar) and comfortable typing on a keyboard. The ability to learn quickly and follow both written and verbal instructions. Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to use logic and reasoning. A valid Florida driver’s license and a clean driving history. Ideally, you’ll have some previous clerical experience (1 year preferred) and/or experience in an automotive office or dealership setting. A high school diploma or equivalent. Why Join Our Team?
