Suncoast PACE, a member of Empath Health, is seeking a Care TeamAssistant to join the team. Under the direct supervision of the Center Manager or anothermember of PACE leadership, provides administrative support to thePACE Center which encompasses the clinic and/or day center.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Handles a variety of administrative duties to ensure accuraterecord keeping, compliance with participant capacity for daycenter, adequate member flow through the clinic and support forsome related marketing activities. Manages the PACE Center reception desk/Clinic receptiondesk. Supports administrative, clinical, and day center staff withclerical duties such as faxing, scheduling, ordering supplies,etc.

Requirements:
Education:

High school diploma or general education degree(GED); 7+ years in administrative, writing, office experience. PACEknowledge and experience a plus.

Experience:

A minimum of two (2) years in a medical setting(hospital, clinic, medical office, nursing home, etc.) ispreferred. Has worked with the elderly and/or chronically ill. Experiencemanaging patient schedules and a busy front desk or officeenvironment. Must have medical clearance for communicable diseases andup-to-date immunizations before having direct participantcontact. Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and havemeans of transportation. Knowledge of Suncoast PACE Policies & Procedures. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products such asWord, Excel, and Outlook. Working knowledge of PowerPoint andAccess. Must be able to create spreadsheets, letters, and tablesindependently. Knows how to use scheduling software and/or uses Excel tomanage schedules. Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare billing orclaims. Data entry and database management using Electronic MedicalRecord (EMR) systems or equivalent systems. Empath Health values diversity as it strengthens our community andcare.
