Sarasota, FL 34233 Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable and organized Office Assistant to join our team and help keep our office running smoothly. This is a flexible, part-time position ideal for someone looking to work during the week with no Friday hours required. The schedule can be tailored around the right candidate’s availability, with an emphasis on supporting the Office Manager with various day-to-day administrative and organizational tasks. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support and assisting with various clerical tasks. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Responsibilities Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to maintain up-to-date records. Utilize QuickBooks for basic accounting tasks and financial record keeping. Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel. Manage scheduling and appointments, ensuring optimal time management for the office. Assist with clerical duties, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents. Collaborate with team members to ensure administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner. Ensure office environment is tidy, professional, and welcoming. Provide general support to the Office Manager and other departments as needed. Skills Proficient in data entry with a strong attention to detail. Familiarity with QuickBooks is preferred but not required. Strong clerical skills with experience in an office environment. Proficient in Google Workspace applications (Docs, Sheets, Drive). Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Effective time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently. Strong administrative skills to support various office functions.
