Spherion Staffing of Lake, Marion and Sumter County has openings for Expediters to join a busy golf cart service department located in The Villages. As an Expediter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and delivering outstanding service to valued customers. If you have a positive attitude, an excellent focus on customer satisfaction, and a knack for attention to detail, we want to hear from you! These are temp-to-hire positions. The schedule is Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 am with a starting pay rate of $15.00 per hour. Worksites may vary locations within The Villages.

Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently manage and coordinate the flow of golf carts through our service department.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between customers and service technicians, ensuring clear communication and timely updates.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and requests.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of service orders, ensuring all necessary information is properly documented.
  • Collaborate closely with the service team to ensure a seamless workflow and minimize downtime.

7:30 AM

PM Skills:
  • Familiarity with golf carts, their components, and common service needs is desirable.
  • Proficient computer skills and experience with service management software or systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, fostering a cooperative work environment.
Education:
High School Experience:

0-1 years

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a customer service-oriented role is preferred.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and friendly attitude.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
