RESPONSIBILITIES
File and keep accurate records of a routine nature
Compose effective/accurate correspondence with minimum supervision
Receive/distribute mail, screen items which can be handled independently
Assume responsibility of routine/non-routine matters with minimum direction
Maintain internal account records subject to auditing procedures to comply with school board policy and district budgeting and expenditure procedures
May serve as an advisor to the staff on internal accounting procedures as it pertains to the school
May prepare/maintain (with principal’s assistance) the school site budget
May maintain property records
May prepare payroll reports
Maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Other duties as assigned by site administrator
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
