Description Georgia Military College Junior College is currently accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of Junior College Academics (VP JCA). The Administrative Assistant to the VP JCA coordinates and carries key administrative functions for the daily academic operations of the Junior College. This includes scheduling, project and event support, processing payments, preparing reports, processing documentation, and budgetary support. This position also provides support to the Junior College Leadership team as needed. Primary Responsibilities Provides support to the function and operations of the Office of the VP Junior College Academics, including but not limited to, scheduling and planning events; managing calendars; purchasing supplies; submitting work orders; assisting with budget development and management; and processing payments.
Provides technical support on a wide range of projects including research and analysis; project logistics; and preparing briefings, reports, and documents.
Provides support to the Junior College Leadership team. This includes answering questions, making copies, organizing mail, submitting work orders, and assisting with projects.
Provides excellent customer service and student support. This includes answering phone calls, welcoming visitors, troubleshooting issues, and providing support.
Provides support for event planning and coordination, including making travel arrangements, ordering catering, reserving rooms/space, and submitting work orders for set-up needs. •Criminal background check and drug screen must be cleared before any candidate may begin working.
