Job Description
Position Summary Provides support and performs operational and administrative duties for the Director of Risk Management. Coordinates the day-to-day administrative operations of the Risk Management Department. Coordinates and maintains employed physician/extender liability information. Maintains System vehicle and authorized driver roster. Assists Corporate Compliance Officer as needed. Education Associates of Business – Preferred Experience 2-3 Years Administrative Office – Required Ability to work with risk management personnel by providing a working knowledge of administrative procedures and risk management functions. Proficient in secretarial support functions and ability to provide an understanding of administrative procedures. Maintains the ability to converse with system and outside personnel and initiate problem solving techniques. Organizational and operational skills. License & Certification None Required Core Job Functions Takes minutes, prepares correspondence, reports, minutes and other documents as directed and processes all incoming mail. Schedules meetings as necessary an assists Director with calendars and phones. Serves as a backup to process payroll. Serves as initial point of contact. Researches/obtains supporting documents/information when applicable and when appropriate attempts to resolve issues. Coordinates travel schedule and makes travel arrangements. Maintains authorized driver’s database and system vehicle roster ensuring and verifying policy requirements for new and existing drivers. Provides clerical support as requested by the Corporate Compliance Officer. Supplies are ordered and inventory is maintained within budget guidelines. Answers the phone in a timely manner following system guidelines, with accurate information provided to caller. Facilitates or works on special projects with a variety of groups as needed.
