The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing clinical and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our medical office. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Provide administrative support including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records. Assist with patient intake processes, obtain vital signs and ensure accurate documentation of patient information. Handle outgoing referrals and preauthorization of the procedures and medications. Utilize electronic health record systems such as Allscripts for managing patient data. Maintain a clean and organized office environment to enhance patient service experience. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure efficient office management and patient care. Address patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy . Requirements Previous experience in medical administrative support or a similar role is required. Proficiency in insurance verifications and familiarity with Medicaid regulations. Experience using practice management software such as Allscripts and PM is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
