Job Description
Office Administrative Assistant Firebird Foundation for Anthropological Research Phillips, ME 04966 The Administrative Assistant to the Firebird Foundation for Anthropological Research will work directly with the President, the Executive Director of the Bhutan Oral Literature Project, and other staff members in the facilitation of various projects of the Foundation by maintaining the membership and listserv databases, processing online publication orders and payments, coordinating charitable grants, assisting with coordination of research, language, and archive materials, maintaining the information on the Foundation’s website, and other administrative duties and special project needs, as assigned. The Firebird Foundation for Anthropological Research is a 501c3 private foundation located in Phillips, ME. The Foundation’s work focuses on the preservation of culture, oral literature, and the traditional ecological knowledge of indigenous people around the world. The Foundation achieves these goals through various charitable endeavors and projects, including but not limited to the Borneo Research Council, the Sabah Oral Literature Project, the Bhutan Oral Literature Project, and the Firebird Archives and Collections project.
