Position Summary
Acts as receptionist for all incoming clients into the practice with utmost customer care. Collects fees at time of service to include outstanding balances. Assist with answering calls ensuring the proper documentation of information is gathered and passed on to the providers. This position is responsible for entering and processing any out office charges into EMR, which will include collaboration with hospital and nursing home staff. Clerical Coordinator maintains an open line of communication with the providers and office manager. Assist practice manager with various duties and responsibilities as assigned.
This position requires a highly motivated individual with a positive attitude towards the patients, physicians, and fellow employees. Must have strong people skills and be a team player. Individual must maintain a professional attitude while performing multiple tasks in a pressured environment. Individual must be innovative and self-motivating, engaging in tasks without being directed to do so. Individual must be detail oriented.
