This role involves a variety of administrative and clerical tasks that support the daily functions of the organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Be the backbone of our tax team by providing top-notch administrative support, from scheduling meetings to managing busy calendars. Dive into the action by preparing and organizing tax documents and filings, ensuring compliance with all regulations. Play a crucial role in the preparation of tax returns and related paperwork, making a real impact on our clients’ success. Keep everything on track by maintaining organized and accurate records for all tax-related activities. Be the voice of our team! Communicate effectively with clients, answering inquiries and providing timely updates on their tax filings. Collaborate across departments to gather essential information for tax preparation, enhancing teamwork and synergy. Handle general office duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies, ensuring our operations run like a well-oiled machine. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus! Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role, ideally in a tax or finance environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and tax software (CCH Access Tax or ProSystems Tax) —your tech skills will shine here! Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills that will help you connect with clients and colleagues alike.
