Integrity. Commitment. Teamwork. Respect. Position Description The Coordinator, Advancement serves as a vital member of the Advancement team, reporting to the Manager of the CAO Office. This position provides high-level administrative and project coordination in support of the Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) and overall Advancement Department, helping to advance strategic objectives and reinforce the Federation’s philanthropic priorities. Positioned at the intersection of executive leadership and fundraising, the Coordinator plays a key role in facilitating effective operations, fostering alignment across the Advancement department, and enhancing engagement with major stakeholders. This individual brings a thoughtful, solutions-oriented approach to both day-to-day responsibilities and longer-term initiatives, contributing to a culture of collaboration and excellence. Primary Responsibilities
Provide executive and project support to the CAO, ensuring timely progress on strategic and operational goals. This would include daily and weekly reporting functions.
Facilitate cross-functional coordination to help implement fundraising strategies and departmental initiatives.
Assist with stakeholder and donor engagement, including calendar management, department and external meeting management, preparation of briefing materials, and post-meeting follow-up.
Support the planning, execution, and documentation of events and engagements led by the Advancement team.
Oversee data entry and various processes for CAO and Advancement Department.
Requirements Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a philanthropic or nonprofit environment.
General familiarity with the game of soccer is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to remain organized, focused, and responsive in high-volume, fast-paced settings.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
Minimum INSERT years of clinical experience working within Soccer and/or other elite sport.
General knowledge of soccer. Capable of working in fast-paced and demanding environments. Must be able to connect “micro” details to the “macro” vision and mission. Proficient experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook). Desired Qualifications
Collaborative and solutions-driven professional with the ability to navigate complex dynamics across teams and stakeholders.
Proven judgment and discretion in managing confidential and time-sensitive matters.
Familiarity with advancement practices, including donor engagement, stewardship, and operational infrastructure.
